Content reviews let you schedule or request reviews of content entries. Regularly reviews help ensure content stays accurate, up to date and aligned with standards over time.
Why use content reviews
- Prevent content drift or decay. As facts, policies or context change, reviews help catch outdated or incorrect content.
- Maintain auditability and accountability. Every review is logged with reviewer, date, outcome and comments, offering a clear content history.
What you can do with content reviews
- Enable or disable scheduled reviews on a content type.
- Configure the review cadence (e.g. number of days between reviews) and a review-window (how early to flag entries before the due date).
- Allow or disable on-demand review requests for entries.
- For each entry, view the review status, last review date, next review due date (if scheduled), assigned reviewer, and available reviewers.
- Trigger review workflows: start review, pass review, fail review (with feedback), cancel content reviews.
- Assign or re-assign a reviewer to an entry.
- Request a manual review on an entry (if on-demand review is enabled).
- Receive notifications about review events (assignment, request, pass/fail, etc.).
