Page last updated 14 August 2026

Bulk delete moves all the selected assets to the recycle bin. They are removed from the asset library and can no longer be selected in entries.

Delete assets in bulk

  1. Select Assets from the project sidebar.
  2. Filter or search until the listing shows the assets you want to delete.
  3. Tick the checkbox on each asset, or use Select all assets.
  4. Select Delete 12 assets from the selection bar.
  5. Review the Confirm bulk deletion dialog, which tells you "You're about to delete the 12 selected assets."
  6. Select Confirm deletion (12 assets).

A progress message tracks the operation, followed by a summary: "Bulk delete complete" and "12 assets have been deleted."

Recovering deleted assets

Deleting in bulk moves assets to the recycle bin, the same as deleting one at a time. To find and restore them from there, see the recycle bin steps in Delete and restore an asset.

Permissions

The Delete action appears if you can delete at least one selected asset. If you can't delete all of them, the confirmation dialog shows how many will be skipped and why, before you commit.
