Page last updated 31 March 2026

Bulk unpublish allows you to remove multiple published entries from your site or delivery channels at the same time.

Unpublished entries remain in Contensis and can still be edited, reviewed, or published again later.

Before you start

You must have permission to unpublish entries for the selected content types.

Only published entries can be unpublished.

When to use bulk unpublish

Use bulk unpublish when you want to:

  • temporarily remove content from your site
  • take down content that needs to be updated or reviewed
  • remove multiple published entries at the same time

Bulk unpublish entries

  • A success message confirms how many entries were unpublished.

  • Draft or already unpublished entries are skipped.
  • You must have permission to unpublish the selected entries.

If some entries cannot be unpublished, a summary is shown explaining which entries will and will not be unpublished before you confirm.
