If you want to improve the editorial workflow for your content authors, you may want to reorder how the fields are displayed in the entry editor.

You reorder the fields by editing the content type, and there are three ways to do it. Here we are in the content type builder and have the plant content type open, and I can move the product name field by clicking and dragging and dropping.

This is the most common way to reorder fields. Alternatively, you could use the context menu for the field, and you can move the field up, you can move the field down. You could move the field to the bottom, or you could move the field to the top.

There is another way by using keyboard shortcuts. With the list focused, you can navigate through the list using the arrow keys to find the item that you want.

And when you want to reorder that item, press the alt key and use either the up arrow key or the down arrow key to reorder the item.

So there we are three different ways of reordering fields in a content type using drag and drop using the actions menu or alternatively using the keyboard shortcuts.
