View and filter campaigns

The campaigns listing shows every campaign in the project, grouped by what stage it has reached. You need the View action on the Campaigns permission to see them. Without that, campaigns do not appear in the sidebar at all.

Select Campaigns in the sidebar to open it.

Campaigns are split across three tabs by status, and Contensis decides the status from the campaign's dates.

Each default ordering is chosen to put the campaign you most likely care about at the top. On Upcoming that is whatever starts soonest, on Active it is whatever is running out of time, and on Ended it is whatever just finished.

Every tab shows the same five columns:

• Name
• Date range
• Duration
• Timeline
• Owner

Timeline is the useful one, and it changes with the tab. On Upcoming it counts down to the start, reading Starts in 12 days. On Active it counts down to the end, reading 9 days remaining. On Ended it reports how long ago the campaign finished, reading Ended 3 days ago. Short periods are shown in hours or minutes rather than days.

Select a column heading to sort by it. Select the same heading again to reverse the direction.

Sorting replaces the tab's default ordering rather than adding to it, and only one column sorts at a time. Choosing a different column drops the previous sort.

The date column sorts on different values depending on which tab you are looking at. On Upcoming and Active it sorts by start date, and on Ended it sorts by end date, which is the one that makes sense in each case.

If there are more campaigns than fit on a page, use the pagination controls at the bottom. The result count updates as you go, so you can see where you are in the full set.

Each tab has its own message, so you can tell the difference between having no campaigns at all and having none at this stage.

Tab to the status tabs, move between them with the arrow keys, and select one with Enter or Space. The listing updates to show that tab's campaigns.
