Assigning a content owner

Assigning a team member as a content owner aids content governance. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to assign a content owner to an entry.

  1. With the Entry listing screen displayed, open the entry for editing.
  2. Press the Actions button, as indicated by the triple dot icon. A dropdown menu will be displayed.
  3. From the actions menu, select the Change content owner option. A Change content owner window will be displayed.
  4. Select the team member you want to assign from the list. If necessary you can type their name to find them quickly.
  5. Confirm the assignment by pressing Save. The team member will be assigned as the content owner and they will recieve an email notification indicating they are responsible for the entry.
