Success through effective knowledge transfer
Whilst training at individual user level is minimal, more advanced users will benefit from training specific to their role. We have therefore developed a range of courses to help everyone become a true content management professional.
We would normally expect to deliver an agreed level of high-level training over an agreed period after project start-up, this would normally be organised after the initial templates had been created and the folder structures are in place.
If these key elements of the solution are available for use when training commences, it makes the individual training sessions far more valuable.
The actual training requirement is carefully assessed during the implementation phase when we will propose a training schedule based upon individual project needs.
End-user training is normally delivered through ‘train the trainer’ sessions since, from an individual users viewpoint, the system is easy and intuitive to use. In many projects, the amount of freedom given to individual contributors is restricted to ensure that design and accessibility standards are controlled and under these circumstances most people will be happily contributing and editing content within fifteen minutes of their first encounter with the system.
If they do experience difficulties, they have access to a fully searchable help system and a series of video tutorials, which allow individuals to learn or refresh their understanding of more complex issues at their own pace.
We offer a number of off the shelf training packages to cater for the needs of everyone from everyday contributor to advanced technical user and in broad terms, these specific groups are addressed:
Editor/contributor
Administrator (Requires Editor/Contributor training)
Developer (Requires both Administrator and Editor/Contributor training)
Server Set-up and Deployment (Requires no other Contensis training)
